You can request up to 3 days before or after these dates (subject to availability).  Please request the dates within our block  After your reservation is held, you can contact our travel agent who will assist your in extending your Pura Vida Experience there or at another amazing Costa Rica hotel.

Cost To Hold Room: $0.  The resort asks that you place a card on file that will be charged upon your arrival.

Deadline To Get Group Rate: August 22, 2026 but we ask that you RSVP by May 15, 2026.

Note About Children: While little ones are welcome to enjoy the resort with you, we kindly request that the ceremony and reception remain an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children in the wedding party.

Airport Transportation: our group will receive a discounted rate once all guests have reserved their rooms and submitted their flight info.  A form to do so will be sent to each room closer to departure.

If you’re interested in a different room type, simply book your room first and then reach out to our office. To receive the wedding rate, all reservations must be made by August 22, 2026.

Cancellations made up to 7 days prior incur no penalty; cancellations within 7 days, no-shows, or early departures will be charged the full stay.

The couple has secured a preferred group contract with the resort to ensure their guests receive the best experience possible—exclusive rates, curated room options, and priority status in the unlikely event of overbooking. Reserving within the room block also ensures you’re included in all guest communications and travel support leading up to the celebration.

Guests who book outside the group will not receive the wedding rate, may be ineligible for certain perks, and could be required to purchase an event pass. In addition, rooms booked separately are not linked to the wedding and do not count toward the couple’s contracted benefits with the resort.

Booking through the room block is the best way to support the couple and guarantee a seamless, fully connected wedding experience.

 If you’re interested in a room category not listed in the room block—such as a multi-room suite—simply note it on your registration form. We’ll confirm availability and share pricing options.

For guests who wish to arrive early or stay longer, the group rate may be extended up to three nights before or after the wedding dates, pending availability. Just include your preferred dates, and we’ll look into securing the best rate for you.

If you’d prefer to extend your trip at another resort, we’re happy to help you choose the perfect property. Costa Rica is meant to be explored, and we’d love to help you make the most of your time there.

Airfare is not included in the room block. You’re welcome to book flights independently through your preferred airline or flight search site. If you’d like help finding the best route and schedule, you may reach out to Dana at dana@aisleaway.com

Quick Tips for Booking Airfare:

Fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR) — this is the correct airport for the wedding.  The hotel is only 25 minutes away.
Do not book flights into San José (SJO), as it is several hours away and not suitable for this event.

A valid passport book is required for all U.S. citizens traveling to Costa Rica. Passport cards are not accepted for international air travel. Your passport book must be valid for the full duration of your stay and contain at least one blank page for entry and exit stamps. A visa is not required for tourist visits of up to 90 days.

Guests traveling from outside the United States should confirm their country’s entry requirements before booking.

No worries — this happens all the time! The best way to secure your spot is to go ahead and register your room under just your name for now. Once you know who your roommate will be, simply reach out to us at dana@aisleaway.com and we’ll add them onto your room.

Please note: roommates must be added no later than 3 months before travel so the couple has time to adjust their wedding events to include all guests.
