How do I reserve my room?
Start by completing the RSVP form on this page. After registering, you will receive the custom group booking link to hold your room directly with El Mangroove using a credit card. Please do not book through the hotel website, since that will not connect your stay to the wedding group.
Can I book directly with the hotel?
No. To receive the wedding group rate and make sure your room is counted with Janelle + Joe's group, you must RSVP through this page first and use the group booking link sent after registration.
When will I be charged?
Your room + taxes will be charged 7 days before arrival. The resort fee will be charged separately at check-in. A credit card is required to hold the reservation, but the cost to hold your room is $0.
Why do I need to send my confirmation number?
After you receive your confirmation from El Mangroove, please email it to hello@aisleaway.com. This helps Aisle + Away Travel Co. verify that your reservation is counted in Janelle + Joe's wedding group.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. All U.S. citizens, including babies and children, leaving the country by plane require a valid passport book. A passport card or enhanced ID is not valid for international air travel. Make sure your passport is valid well beyond your travel dates.
Can children attend?
Little ones are welcome to enjoy the resort with you. Janelle and Joe kindly request that the ceremony and reception remain an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children in the wedding party.
How does airport transportation work?
The group will receive a discounted airport transportation rate after guests have reserved rooms and submitted flight information. A form to submit flight details will be sent to each room closer to departure. Please only use Liberia International Airport (LIR).
What if I want to stay longer?
Please request the group block dates first: October 22-26, 2026. After your reservation is held, contact Aisle + Away Travel Co. for help requesting additional nights at El Mangroove or extending your Costa Rica trip at another hotel. Extra nights are subject to availability.
What should I pack?
Pack for warm Costa Rica weather, resort casual evenings, beach time, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable shoes, swimwear, and wedding attire. You may also want bug spray, a reusable water bottle, and light layers for travel days or excursions.
What about travel insurance?
Travel protection is strongly recommended. It can help protect your investment if unexpected illness, delays, cancellations, or emergencies affect your trip. Aisle + Away Travel Co. can provide options after your reservation is started.
When should I book my flights?
Please wait until your room is confirmed before purchasing airfare. Once confirmed, book flights into Liberia International Airport (LIR). A flight information form will be sent closer to departure so airport transportation can be coordinated.
